The Black Seeds return to London this weekend to mark the release of ‘Wide Open’ / ‘Don’t Turn Around’, the second single to be lifted from their recent LP ‘Dust and Dirt’.
Having toured Europe in Spring and sold out the Electric Ballroom in Camden, The Black Seeds are back for a string of festival appearances and will also play their own London headline show at Electric Brixton on 11 August (Saturday).
Having sold over 125,000 records world wide, ‘Dust and Dirt’ is the first LP to come out on the band’s own label Proville Records and follows their critically acclaimed LP’s ‘Into The Dojo’ (2007) and ‘Solid Ground’ (2008).
Self recorded and produced in their own studio, situated in a condemned building in Wellington, New Zealand, ‘Dust and Dirt’ sees The Black Seeds drawing on a wider range of musical influences.
