Three more dead as hunt for Otorohanga killer continues

The hunt for Otorohanga murder suspect Ross Bremner is still ongoing as three bodies were discovered on Friday night on a property that contained a car connected to the suspected killer.

Bremner is on the run after allegedly stabbing his parents this week in Otorohanga, killing his mother Clare and leaving father Keith in critical condition.

A Holden Vectra was the vehicle he went on the run in, and this car was found on a property in the Waitomo District. A visitor to the house then found the three deceased inside on Friday evening.

No details about the bodies have been released as yet as the crime scene remains locked down, though it appears they were all connected to each other.

Waikato Police Acting District Commander Naila Hassan said, as reported by the New Zealand Herald: “Police acknowledge that this is unsettling and alarming to the community, but do not believe there is any ongoing risk to the public.

“A scene examination and further investigations into the circumstances of this tragic event will continue tomorrow.”
