The festival venue has now been confirmed and it will take place at WASPS FC in Twyford Avenue, West London.
This year all three formats will be run over one day on Saturday 25 July.
For those teams, supporters and festival lovers travelling from a distance, or those just looking to spend a great weekend outside and take advantage of summer, there will be camping available on site. This will be available from Friday 24 until Sunday 26 July, so be sure to get the whole family, friends and team together.
There are three different competitions that you, your club or group of friends can get involved in.
There is Men’s and Ladies 7’s, Men’s 10’s and a Mixed Touch Rugby competition being run all weekend. With forty 7’s, twenty 10’s and twenty mixed touch rugby teams expected to participate in this year’s festival, it is definitely one to put in your diary and something you will not want to miss.
What to do as a spectator or while not playing
Well that has been thought about too. There will be a variety of food vendors offering a range of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks to keep everyone satisfied throughout the weekend. Live music and entertainment will be onsite to keep you going well into the evening.
“The festival provides rugby lovers, families and the community with an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic weekend of rugby. All the while offering entertainment to keep everyone from the children to retired rugby fanatic happy,” says Jean Clark, Previous London 10s Runner Up, Valhalla Rugby.
