In 2015, in conjunction with the RFU, In2Touch successfully organised free training sessions to the general public during the Rugby World Cup. Due to the success of these sessions and the demand for training, In2Touch will once again be offering theses free training sessions in 2016 during late March and the whole of April.
Touch Rugby is a sport for everyone to enjoy. It is a fast-growing sport in the UK, which is getting people of all ages outdoors, having some fun and enjoying the active lifestyle sport gives to so many people in this country.
There are Touch centres located all over England, from Bournemouth to London, and all the way to Manchester. To find your local centre, go onto the In2touch website and enjoy the afternoons learning the fantastic game.
These sessions are going to be held at the various locations the leagues are played during the summer and will allow you the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon out in one of London’s amazing parks.
The sessions will begin with a light warm-up and then learning the basic ball skills that are needed to play the game. Once that’s completed, the coaches then get you involved in drills that will teach you how Touch is played and the rules that come with the game.
Once everyone has a basic idea of the game and how it is played, the best way to then learn and understand touch is by playing a game. Our coaches will be there to help, referee, and explain the game all while playing against fellow individuals.
To sign up to one or more of these session’s head on over to In2Touch.com, where you will find all the information to answer your questions.
A reminder: Touch is an all gender sport. Within all the leagues there are teams that consist of men’s, ladies and even mixed teams. They all play in their separate leagues so that you can choose to get the boyfriend involved and out of the armchair.
There are many videos out there that will give you a better idea of what Touch is. Otherwise, give us a call and well be happy to answer any questions you may have. [email protected] or +44(0)20 85420827.
