The Hot Custard team had entered two teams into the Sunday League with one team in the Mixed Division 1 League and the other in the Mixed Divisions 2 League. With some amazing touchdowns and skills on show they blew away their competitors. Hot Custard played some great touch and showed their class on and off the field.
John Boyes the organiser of Hot Custard said “We love playing touch, it’s a great way to get outside and exercise while having fun and then you don’t feel so bad when you have a few beers at the pub afterwards which we always do.”
The winter touch league has now ended which means it’s almost time for the very popular Spring Leagues! With many teams registered already it’s looking like it’ll be a very busy season with lots of social events in the works.
There are plenty of Upcoming Leagues and with various different leagues across London so why not get outdoors and get involved. We have venues at Regents Park, Surrey Quays, Richmond, Putney/Wandsworth, Clapham Wandsworth and Clapham Common and most venues have touch on each night, Monday through to Thursdays in the evenings.
There are numerous upcoming events that you can get involved in too, such as the highly popular Social World Cup Day in September where teams go all out and play touch in fancy dress. Another great event is our In2Touch Boat Party happening in June and everyone who plays in our leagues are invited to cruise along the Thames while looking at all the beautiful sights London has to offer.
