ANDREW HORE has been officially cited for his alleged late-shot on a Welsh opponent that saw him taken hospital early in the 33-10 victory in Cardiff on Saturday.
The All Blacks’ hooker was unpunished at the time for striking lock Bradley Davies at the Millennium Stadium, but was roundly condemned following the match.
Davies suffered concussion in the hit, and took no further part in the match.
Hore was cited by the Six Nations Committee, which oversees disciplinary matters in the autumn internationals.
With Kevin Mealamu under an injury cloud, Hika Elliot has been called into the squad.
Hore is the second All Black forward to be cited, after flanker Adam Thomson copped a two-week ban for stamping on the head of a Scottish opponent a fortnight ago.
The All Blacks play England on Saturday.
