48 hours of fun at Spain's Estrella Levante SOS 4.8 festival
Estrella Levante SOS 4.8 is a 48 hours non-stop festival that takes place across May Bank Holiday Weekend from April 30 to May1 in Murcia, Spain.

Franz Ferdinand, The Horrors, Mystery Jets, Hot Chip, Orbital, Crystal Castles, Fatboy Slim, Carl Craig, Uffie, Madness, Tindersticks, The Magic Numbers and Nada Surf performing in the music section of the festival.
Adding to international bands, SOS 4.8 will also showcase the best of the current Spanish indie scene.
As in previous editions, the event will include a ‘contemporary arts section’, with this year’s exhibitions and activities curated around the concept ‘Bizarre’; and the ‘Voices’ section, offering talks around social issues such as the effect of Capitalism in climate change. The novelty this year will be the new space ‘Taboo’, courtesy of the Apolo Theatre (Barcelona), offering: burlesque, cabaret, striptease, circus performances and more music.

SOS 4.8 takes place in city of Murcia, just 40 minutes drive from La Manga, the famous beach resort in South East Spain.
Last year’s edition sold out and included acts such as PJ Harvey, The Prodigy, Peaches, 2ManyDJs and Underworld.
The 20,000 capacity two-day festival has an amazing price of £34.99 which does not include accommodation.

How to get there: For those booking beach accommodation in La Manga we advise flying to Murcia airport, just 30 minutes bus ride to La Manga.
Those planning to stay in Murcia city could fly to either airport, both about 40 minutes from the city.
Direct Flights to Murcia are offered by Iberia, Easyjet, Ryanair, Bmibaby, Monarch and Jet2 airlines.
