NEW Zealand will play 10 matches, including two Tests, on their  cricket tour of South Africa later this year.

The Black Caps, who lost Twenty20, one-day and Test series against the Proteas on home soil earlier this year, open their tour with a T20 warm-up against an invitational side on December 18.

They play three T20 internationals and a three-day match before the first Test starts on January 2 at Newlands in Cape Town followed by the second Test in Port Elizabeth.

Three one-day internationals, the last at Potchefstroom on January 25, complete the tour.
