Toast Festival this year is packed full of entertainment and Londoner’s from all walks of life can again experience polo matches on the Common with three international games commencing at the start of each day. Ascot Park Polo Club has arranged professional players representing New Zealand, Australia and South Africa to take on the Brits with expert commentary from world renowned Kiwi polo player and coach, Peter Grace. There will also be a chance to jump on a pony or crate, grab a mallet and practice their swing in the ‘Have A Go’ sessions.
The Wine Theatres will yet again be a popular feature to the event, with free tasting sessions taking place where visitors can experience and learn more about the quality wines coming out of each of the Toast Nations.
Westpac Migrant Banking (London Branch) is sponsoring the Gold Enclosure this year and here visitors receive two free complimentary drinks on arrival. The area boasts great views of the Polo field and main stage entertainment as well as their own bar and shelter from the elements.
Not just for ex-pats craving some home-grown treats, Toast is also a great opportunity for tourists, travellers, culture junkies, sports fans, foodies and wine lovers to be educated in all things Southern Hemisphere.
