Circle Line closed on Waitangi day!
In another piece of brilliant planning by the City of London and TFL, the Circle Line will be shut this weekend, including tomorrow, Waitangi day

According to www.tfl.gov.uk the closure is a scheduled one, in order to carry out the extension and upgrade of the line, as part of the expansion of the London tube network.
This will throw out the plans of thousands of Kiwis living in the city, as they attempt to take part in the traditional Waitangi Day pub crawl.
Usually done on the circle line, the crawl will now be undertaken on foot, a far more daunting task, especially given the arctic conditions expected tomorrow.
