New Zealand ONLY the 14th best country in the world

A so-called ‘Best Countries’ survey conducted by US News and World Report has deemed New Zealand just the 14th best country in the world.



The survey, created in partnership with global marketing communications company Y&R’s brand strategy firm BAV Consulting and The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, at least saw New Zealand top the ‘comfortable environment’ category.

About 21,000 participants were asked to associate 80 countries with specific attributes – and here’s how New Zealand fared in a dozen other key areas…

3. Quality of life: ninth
4. Transparent: ninth
5. Raising children: ninth
6. Women: 10th
7. Green living: 11th
8. Education: 14th
9. Cultural influence: 18th
10. Entrepreneurship: 19th
