Kiwi House Returns June 2013 To Celebrate New Zealand’s Success

On 23 June, Kiwi House is returning as part of the London 2012 legacy to celebrate with its London community.



On 23 June, Kiwi House is returning as part of the London 2012 legacy to celebrate with its London community.

The weekend 21-23 June will see New Zealand’s official national house, Kiwi House, resurrected to showcase the best of New Zealand culture and spirit to harness the expatriate community living in London. The aim is to raise money for the New Zealand team as it prepares for 2016 and rally the London community to support it and make New Zealand Proud for 2016.

A large marquee will be erected in the traditional leafy gardens of Park Crescent, adjacent to Regent’s Park tube station and the three-day programme will include:

Friday 21 June
President’s Fundraising Dinner
6pm till late
A 250 capacity black tie dinner
Celebrating with New Zealand athletes along with a world exclusive performance by Hollie Smith of the new Team song.
Saturday 22 June
Kiwi House Summer Party
11am to late
Beer, Pies, Wine and BBQ fun
Special Kiwi guests to be announced

Sunday 23 June
Kiwi House Summer Party and Closing ceremony
Special appearances by members of NZ2012 rowing and equestrian
Beer, Pies, Wine and BBQ fun

The event is being organised to raise important monies to allow our New
Zealand teams to continue to compete and succeed at the highest levels
internationally and will offer guests money can’t buy auction prizes – including
the Fence of Fame – a part hoarding from the first ever Kiwi House in 2012
which was signed by all NZ VIPs and medalists.

£160 pp for the President’s Fundraising Dinner to £10 pp for Kiwi House.
