Grammy glory for Kimbra

Kiwi singer Kimbra has won two awards at the Grammys for her role in Goyte’s global smash hit Somebody That I Used To Know.

KIWI singer Kimbra has won two awards at the Grammys for her role in Goyte’s global smash hit Somebody That I Used To Know.

In the pre-televised segment of the show in Los Angeles the pair won the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and later claimed Record of the Year, one of the biggest awards of the night.

Wally “Goyte” De Backer also on Best Alternative Album for Making Mirrors.

Their song was the best selling song on iTunes in 2012 with over 13 million copies sold.

It topped numerous charts in the United States, and has been watched over 383 million times on You Tube.

Bret McKenzie, one half of the Flight of the Conchords, missed out on the award for best song written for visual media for his tune Man or Muppet.
