Farting passenger forces flight to divert

A flight from Dubai to Amsterdam in the Netherlands was forced divert after a passenger reportedly refused to stop passing wind loudly.

According to the Daily Mail, the pilot made the decision to divert the flight to Vienna, Austria, after a fight broke out amongst passengers.

Passengers reportedly complained about the traveller loudly breaking wind.

A fight then broke out on board, which forced crew members to intervene.

At Vienna airport, four people were removed from the flight, although it is not known whether the flatulent flyer was one of them.

Two young women were part of the group of four evicted from the flight. They denied any involvement in the fracas.

“It was crazy that we were included, we had no idea who these boys were, we just had the bad luck to be in the same row and we didn’t do anything,” the Daily Mail reported one of the ladies, only identified as Nora L, as saying.

As no Austrian laws were broken, no arrests were made. The airline, however, has banned the four from travelling with them again.
