Toast New Zealand 10th Anniversary

Ham Polo Club, Richmond
Start Date: 12 June 2010

An international friendly polo match will kick off the day’s festivities. The game will be followed by the fashions on the field competition where the best dressed couple and group will be welcomed on to the main stage to meet and greet their favourite sport and music celebrities.

Performing LIVE on the main stage at Toast this year is the popular Christchurch rock band, the feelers, flying in exclusively from New Zealand, to play to their London fans for this special edition event.

Other treats throughout the day include Kiwi sporting heroes and breathtaking cultural performances. The Cultural Centre is not to be missed, where visitors can learn more about New Zealand traditional, dance, music, theatre, BBQ workshops and more!

An extensive range of classic home-grown dishes are on offer including barbeques loaded with New Zealand lamb, piles of fresh green-lip mussels, pavlova, and Hokey Pokey ice-cream. If this isn’t enough to get your pulse racing, then all of this can be complemented with a fabulous selection of New Zealand wine, with over 50 varieties available to try by the glass or sample size.  Budding sommeliers can learn more at one of the three wine theatres, which will run five free tutored wine tasting classes throughout each day of Toast.

Toast New Zealand is a great opportunity for tourists, travellers, culture junkies, sports fans, foodies and wine lovers to be educated in all things from this beautiful Southern Hemisphere nation.
