The Tall Blacks will face GB at the Copper Box Arena on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 25 July in a 6pm tip-off.

New head coach Paul Henare will also lead his team in games against Croatia (29 July) and Slovenia (30 July) before heading to the Far East to play in the prestigious Stankovic Cup against hosts China, along with Mexico and Venezuela.

The Tall Blacks are one of the top twenty ranked teams globally and are coming off an impressive FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain, where they rebounded from three defeats at the start of the tournament to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Henare has taken over from long-time coach Nenad Vucinic, and is assisted by Ross McMains and also Pero Cameron who was a huge favourite during his playing days when suiting up for several seasons in the UK with Cheshire.

The Tall Blacks are likely to be led by the exciting Isaac Fotu, Corey Webster, Thomas Abercrombie, Lindsay Tait and Mika Vukona. The five were standouts in the Tall Blacks team that reached the Round of 16 at the World Cup.

Steve Adams, who now has two years of NBA experience under his belt with the Oklahoma City Thunder, is also on the list and could also feature in the London game.

There is also sure to be a terrific atmosphere at the Copper Box at GB veteran Drew Sullivan wins his 100th cap.

Tickets for this must see event are available through Tickets.com or on 0116 2663339.
